Michael ~ Great collection. Funny – some of the ones I like best above have changed when I click on them. I love the black sheep on If istanbul and I’m always drawn to sites in shades of blue like Darkmotion but both are different now.
I work in real estate where so many sites look so similar (and often ugly unfortunately). One of all time favorite real estate sites – wins big points for creativity IMO though not grunge(!) is keytoenid.com. It’s always nice to see something different – and clever.
By the way I found your site – which I look forward to exploring and created a shortcut on my desktop for (my alternative to RSS etc!) – from a 2007 comment you left on a problogger post that’s linked to in today’s 31 Days to a Better Blog Challenge task. Shows that comments live on and on!

Hmm…wondering i can make the design like them too…since i’m not a web design so it really hard for me to make a good one. I always use free template for my theme. Hopefully i can design my own design.

It’s always worth trying. Everyone there started out somewhere. You just keep having a go at it and you’ll eventually get something you’re pleased with. It doesn’t have to be the best design in the world, just a stepping stone towards it!

The If Istanbul offering leaps out at me. Their link goes to a countdown in a foreign language, so I’m unable to ascertain the relevance of using the sheep, but I like it nevertheless. We had a marketing project called It’s A Sheep about eight years ago. It was totally random and irrelevant, but got loads of attention, nevertheless.
