If you upgrade your WP to 2.9, you’ll need to edit your plugin script from:

if ( strpos($wp_version, ‘2.7′) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.8′) !== false )

to:

if ( strpos($wp_version, ‘2.7′) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.8′) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.9′) !== false )
