I really like thematic because is free, but prefer Thesis because of the seo, the only thing is quite expensive :S

Like the others have said. While it is quite expensive, it is one of the best frameworks!!!!!

I personally think you missed out on Thesis, like the others have said. While it is quite expensive, it is one of the best frameworks I have seen for newbies like me, who are not experienced coders, because of their robust options menu.

Hm, I figured out how to get Hybrid News working/modified. Hybrid is actually an awesome theme framework. Like Thematic, it uses Child Themes and it’s open source.

If you guys can keep a secret, there will be several new Child Themes released for Hybrid which should be available by the end of the month.

Arvee, if you’re hesitant to try Thesis, you should look into Hybrid.

What a great post… I ♥ Thematic. I do admit I didn’t knew anything at all about child themes until you’ve got to try it for yourself. I would love to try Thesis, too but it isn’t entirely free if you know what I mean…

I love the Whiteboard framework. Some of the others like thematic only makes making websites with WordPress harder in my opinion. But hey I dont even know how to make child themes

Hey, this blog is exactly what I am looking for… lol I know most spam comments seem to start that way, sorry!

I like playing musical chairs with my blog theme, but have had problems lately. I recently switched to the hybrid network with Hybrid News as a child theme. It works well, but whenever I change themes, my entire site/admin panel crashes when I switch back to Hybrid News.

I have to restore my site from my cpanel to get it to work again. Any ideas on why this might happen? I basically get a blank screen for my webpage and I can’t access my admin panel for WordPress.
