Write For Us – Up to $75 per post!

If you would like to have a post published on Pro Blog Design, we'd be delighted! All authors will be given full credit for their work, including a link back to their site, and up to $75 per post.

Important: You must read the 2 short documents; Writing Process (Includes how to get your payment, how to submit your post, and technical details) and Writing Guidelines (Rules on formatting that are necessary to be published).

Topics We'd Like To See

Anything that fits in the topic of design or blog modifications. Take a look at the sorts of posts published here, and you'll get a feel for the topic. Some examples would include:

  • WordPress tips and tricks.
  • Design theory and advice.
  • Resource posts, e.g. Tools to use, useful plugins etc.
  • Usability guides.
  • List posts.
  • Coding articles.

How It Works

  • Authors are given credit for their work. At the end of each post is an About the Author section. Here you can place a picture, a short blurb (Up to 140 characters), and a link back to your site.
  • Articles may be edited. Please don't be offended if we suggest changes, fix grammar, add links etc. However, no major changes will be made without your approval. It's still your post.
  • Articles must be unique. It cannot have been published elsewhere previously, and once the payment has been made, ownership of the article passes to Pro Blog Design. It cannot be re-published elsewhere.
  • Payments are made per post. The exact amount is based on how many posts you have written for the site previously. The current rates are:
    • 1st Post = $50
    • 3rd Post = $60
    • 5th Post = $70
  • On top of that, you can claim an extra $5 if you reply to 3 comments on your post within 48 hours of it being posted. Details on how to claim your payment are in Writing Process document (Email me if you need it in another format)

Follow The Guidelines!

  • The idea is everything - The topic of your post is the most crucial part. I'll pay for posts where a reader will learn something new, something that they really want to know. Or posts that will solve a problem users commonly run into. If there isn't a clear purpose to the post, or if its too basic, it's not likely to make it.
  • Must be related to design or coding - Ideally, your post should be design-related. Posts about working with WordPress are fine, but this isn't a blogging blog. I've had to draw the line here a few times, so if you're unsure if your idea is right for the blog, email me.
  • Formatting And Writing Rules - IMPORTANT: The post must follow the rules set down in the Writing Guidelines document.

Submit Your Article or Idea

Use the contact form below to let me know your article idea and a summary of the main point you'd like to make. And if you have any questions you'd like to ask, feel free!

You can also include parts of your article in a document if you wish, using the File Upload field, but remember, your article will still need to be entered into the WordPress editor as explained in the Writing Process document!

You can sign up for an account at any time if you'd like to write your draft directly into the editor to save yourself time later. Read the document to find out more.
